+- **Controls:** Set 4 with Auto player change and Auto Move is the default for everyone; the control scheme is chosen only in Dev Options (removed from the pause card, which keeps Player Change and Auto Move).
+- **Match length:** 1 set by default (Dev Options can still make it best of three), sets to 11. Single Game and the room with a friend (chosen by the host) offer 11, 15 or 21; Quick Play, Daily Challenge, Casual and Career always play to 11. Change of ends every 4 points (to 11), 5 (to 15), 7 (to 21). A one-set match shows no set dots next to the score. Online protocol 7: the server and both phones need this version.
+- **Defence with Auto change:** while the opponents build their attack you play the blocker (unless you tap the defender); as soon as their spike gets past the block untouched the control passes to the defender, in time to tap the dig. Shots, free balls and pokes keep the distance rule.
+- **Late dig:** the dig of a spike still plays with a tap up to 0.12 s late (the ball waits just above the sand), with less quality and a wider error the later it is.
+- **CPU peel:** 5% with the opponents' set closer than 1 m to the net, 20% from 1 to 1.5 m, 50% farther (was 30% always).
+- **Who goes for the ball:** a ready defender's faster reaction (1/3) now also counts when choosing who takes an opponent ball, and of the two in time the one there first takes it.
+- **Daily notification:** one notification per day (the next 7 days, rescheduled at every launch) instead of a repeating one, which Android could move (one came at 0:00 instead of 1:00).

**Menu match:** behind the main menu four random players (AI, Hard) play a set to 21 on the court, again and again, silent; Settings > **Enable 3D Scene in Menu** (on by default) turns the whole 3D scene off (a flat background); the change applies when you close the Settings.
**Replays in online rooms:** the power hit replay plays on the guest's phone too (its own view of the play, slow motion from the side); a tap skips it on that phone only. Both phones need this version.
**Inactivity:** with a career team, every day after 5 days without opening the game (counted at midnight) each player loses 5 points, one at a time from the highest attribute (height and build excepted), never below 15; a notice says so at the next launch.
**Notifications (Android):** \"A new Daily Challenge is ready!\" at every new challenge (midnight UTC), and \"Your TEAM is losing its strength!\" on the first day of inactivity loss (10:00); asked for permission at the first launch. The room invite notification comes with the friends.
**Update required:** at launch the game asks the server its version; if the server is newer, a popup says to update the game (Update opens the store) or the online services will not work.
**News:** a new NEWS tile at the bottom shows the latest 10 Ghost Lizard news (picture, title, date, text, Read More); a news item newer than the last one seen opens by itself at launch and the tile shows NEW until then.
